I am almost a psychologist (I haven't finished my dissertation), and I work at an HIV research institute. I spend half my time working in an HIV clinic as a therapist, and the other half working on a research project studying the effects of spiritual beliefs and attitudes on living with HIV. The sex-related section of the study, which appears to be what prompted the, uh, misbehavior, is included because we're interested in what factors contribute to people's continuing with unsafe sex and needle sharing after they are HIV+.

er, me? I'm Kathryn. Student extraordinarire or something like that. I found you through the clinical psychology interest. I've been interested in a psych major after deciding that though i love art to death i don't think i want to make it my life's work and end up hating it. I hope I'm making a bit of sense?

Oddly enough, my mother has a BA in Psych and we were talking hte other day about that. Consequently I'd asked her what the worst thing that could happen would be and she said........."some guy you're counseling might start masturbating in front of you.."
