An excellent day.

minnaleigh came over to spend the day. We made two apple pies, an amazingly rich applesauce-cinnamon chip coffee cake, and four dozen cinnamon chip cookies. We also watched an episode of the West Wing and two episodes of Trading Spaces, played five games of Set, and read ten chapters of an unimaginably bad fanfic. My cheeks ache from all the smiling and laughing.

I like minnaleigh so much.

Mmmmm,cinnamon chips. I just recently discovered them, and found that they make a most excellent addition to the pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe. Mmmmmm. Will not go eat a handful of cinnamon chips for breakfast. Nope.
