Feb. 7th, 2003 10:36 amSnow. Six to nine inches of snow, enough to close the University of Maryland - Baltimore. Enough to cancel the 6:15am Pilates class I was foolishly planning to attend. (I'll make it there next week,
pegkerr.) I woke up just long enough to establish that I wasn't expected anywhere, this morning, and then went back to sleep. In all, I slept the clock 'round - asleep by ten last night, and reluctantly awake at ten this morning.
I fear that I'm coming down with something. I'm tired and congested. I kept waking up thirsty in the middle of the night, which is usually a sign that I'm breathing through my mouth because I'm developing a cold. I don't want to be sick.
At least I get to stay home today and rest.

Date: 2003-02-07 08:48 am (UTC)Wow. You are my new exercise goddess. I shall call you Sol for waking up with the energy of the sun. At 6:15 all I have enough energy to do is whine about being awake and parboil myself in the shower.

I have enough energy to think about taking a Pilates class at 6:15am. I have never actually done so. Today was supposed to be the first meeting, and the snow pretty much canceled it.
I am not a morning person. At 6:15 on a normal day, I am not yet awake. But I've wanted to try Pilates for a long time... we'll see, I guess. And I'll revel in being an exercise goddess named Sol until next Friday, when we see if I can actually follow through. *grin*
