I just checked out my sitemeter for Respectful of Otters. 2756, it said, in what appeared to be a misprint.

Except, no. Nine hundred nineteen visitors today, where I've previously been averaging about 50.

The American Prospect linked to me. Thanks to pnh, apparently, who was responsible for my previous record high in traffic (135, I think), when he linked to me on Saturday.

You know what I'm feeling now? Sheer, raw terror. But it's kind of a fun terror.

Nine hundred nineteen visitors today. Eeeek! What do I do now?

Update: It hit a thousand by midnight. Oh my god oh my god oh my god.

That's fantastic. I try to poke over there sometimes, but its so difficult to remember without an XML feed. Not sure if you can do that with blogspot, though.

Positive feedback is always a good thing, though.

You have to upgrade to Blogger Pro to make a feed for your blog, and they're not currently selling upgrades. Grr. Argh.
