Jan. 18th, 2005 12:06 pmThe bad news: my maternity clothes shopping was based on the apparently faulty assumption that all pregnant women become massive internal heat generators. I have, for example, lots of blouses and light knit shirts.
The good news: some of my big, boxy, insanely warm, too-baggy-for-work wool sweaters have now developed a sleek, body-skimming fit, such that I feel comfortable wearing them to the office.
The Goddess of Pregnancy taketh away with one hand and giveth with the other.

Date: 2005-01-18 06:17 pm (UTC)I feel great. Aside from the waddling and occasional very minor cramping (darn ligaments), it's been awfully good, really. I have NOTHING to complain about. She kicks away on a regular basis - but no longer on my cervix or my bladder, for which I am thankful. I was trying to describe to my dad what the kicking feels like, but it's hard to come up with anything that comes close.
