rivkaWe've got no phone and no Internet, and no hope of improvement until at least Monday, when Verizon is sending out a technician to look at our line.
The people next door were working in their backyard yesterday, doing something that involved hammering and sawing. My guess is that they brought our phone line down. I know, I know, that's not something that should ordinarily happen - but the haphazard, low-slung tangle of phone lines connecting through the local backyards has to be seen to be believed.
I'm at work right now. I had planned to get a bunch of work done over the weekend, and all of my files were perched happily on the e-mail server waiting for me to get to them. Oops.
