...I guess I've been reading the wrong kinds of communities. Suddenly I was overtaken with the urge to learn how to make an animated GIF icon. Some kind of perverse LJ-transmissible sickness, I guess.

What do you think? Too subtle?

I am distracted by wondering if the original strip really had a character _saying_ a font-tag.

But, you know, if you hover your mouse over the icon, you can see the keyword, which helps. =>

I pulled the panel off someone else's site, so I can't say for absolute certain. But I'm pretty sure that it did - Foxtrot has always been full of geeky humor.

Yes, that strip has Jason saying a font tag; also paragraph tag and I think bold tags.
