Breaking news from the McCain campaign: God is a petty, puffed-up, status-crazy adolescent.

It really makes you wonder: if they really believe that God is this way, why would they worship him?

I wonder if this "prayer" crosses legal lines. the IRS looks pretty askance at pastors who preach political messages from the pulpit and start looking at whether they deserve their tax exempt status to be removed...

The relevant line from the IRS site is Currently, the law prohibits political campaign activity by charities and churches by defining a 501(c)(3) organization as one "which does not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office."
