24 inches of snow in the garden, drifting in places to more than 36. Even the semi-protected walkway between our house and next door has 20 inches of snow in it.
The heaviest snowstorm I've ever been in here in MN, we got 31 inches of snow over the course of three days. On Halloween. People still talk about the Great Halloween Blizzard of 1991.
I spend the first 26 years of my life living in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois, and the December storm is the most snow I've ever seen fall in one storm. Of course, I'm completely missing this, so December will have to remain the record for me!
