24 inches of snow in the garden, drifting in places to more than 36. Even the semi-protected walkway between our house and next door has 20 inches of snow in it.
We're up to 30" and the snow has just stopped. There's been three building collapses (no people hurt) -- a hanger in our airport, a church in DC, and a Catholic school in St. Mary's. Both of the religious buildings were to be used for services, so if they were going to fall, this was a better time.
