24 inches of snow in the garden, drifting in places to more than 36. Even the semi-protected walkway between our house and next door has 20 inches of snow in it.

(Seriously, we could use about a foot of that up here in Maine. I can see GRASS out the window for fluff's sake. It ain't right.)
(Okay, dead patchy brown grass and crusty ice, but still.)
