I yawned hard on the way home from the theater tonight, and there was a sudden snap. It felt to me like my jaw had dislocated briefly and then re-located. And now it aches. Scary. I hope this is just a freak occurrence, and not something I'm going to need to watch out for from now on.

I often experience something like what you describe when I yawn if I'm very tired. It has never had any long-lasting effect on me. Hope you're feeling better by the time you read this. (Love you.)
