Date: 2006-12-15 09:03 pm (UTC)"You know what Rich People really like? Jam!"
"Really?"
"Really! If you want to say thank you to a Rich Person, send them a pot of jam! Raspberry... or.. strawberry. With a little red checked cloth on top of it. They love that."
Sadly, I don't know where to get jam online. I tend to either make it, or trade for it. In NYC I have a favorite jam, but I can't remember it's exact name except that I know it when I see it, and it comes in a mason jar.
Wow. THat was useless, but possibly entertaining at least...

Click on Products and then Jams and Jellies. The Estate Select Naturals are impressive.
My own favorite is [are?] the Pineapple Preserves.
You just pay shipping from Chicago.

Maybe I'll place an order. I'm down to my last jar of Blazing Tomato Chutney: the best thing in the world to put on meatloaf.

Date: 2006-12-16 08:11 pm (UTC)No real web presence, but they send all sorts of exotic stuff out by mail, and would probably be happy to help you over the phone. And there's got to be some sort of cachet to an international delivery.
A visit to their store is not to be missed if you're in the neighbourhood.
